This is a book from the category of the other fiction genre that expatiates the story of Luke who is a young aspiring ophthalmologist that is soon enchanted by one of his bosses daughters Lucy a powerful lawyer. Their expedition before long becomes a rollercoaster of happiness and sadness. The Spirit of Want is a fictional story born from the brilliant mind of William H. Coles it is an amazing read that initially starts off at a fast pace, but then gradually slows down, and lingers along. Then the tempo picks up as you get towards the middle of the book and remains steady all the way to the finish.
This book consists of massive character developments and an amazingly well-structured theme and plot. As you dive deeper into the story each of the characters back grounds build up and move from strength to strength. William H. Coles appeared to have been extremely well researched in the legal and medical practice procedures this is evident as the terminologies used in the book are spot on and highly evocative and educational. This book is packed with a refreshing plot that will keep you always busy guessing, and at the edge of your seat.
I enjoyed elements like the authors sophisticated writing style that was well-balanced as the story progressed smoothly from tense to relax moments. The Spirit of Want has a wide coverage as it explored a number of topics and subjects that affect all of our daily lives. I also found this book fascinating, and very fulfilling.
There wasn't much to dislike about this book as I found that it was professionally proofread and well edited except for three minor typos, I observed. This story will stir all the readers emotions such as fear, anger, betrayal, bewilderment, and sadness. I applaud the author for a truly riverting and gripping story that is packed with all the sticks of dynamite a reader can undeniably indulge in highly addictive and explosive stuff.
Therefore, I graciously award The Spirit of Want by Willam H. Coles a well-deserved 4 out of 4 stars for a brilliantly composed book. I must stress that they are elements that revolve around religion that may offend people with strong religious convictions, and such readers may want to give this book a pass? I also highly advise parental guidance as this book has borderline sexual content that might not be suitable for younger readers. Overall, I highly recommend this book is a must-read and am sure it won't disappoint.
