Backcomb and Tattoo by Shea Embry is an inspiring novel featuring secrets, companionship, aspirations, illness, and delight. A transformational story following friendships between four ladies sounds motivating, yet its substantial topics make it a serious read. The book revolves around a woman, Aunt Mary Opal experiencing terminal illness and her three youthful companions who have their issues, so she bonded her three great companions to have undertakings and gain experiences during her last year. Discover the fascinating story of the misfortunes and entertaining moments regarding friendships and secrets.
A charming story of companionship and love that rises above age and social standards. The story has all the earmarks of being very engaging to read. I usually don't like books that contain lesbian relationship themes, however, this book seems like it covers some other weighted topics that I am interested in: assisted suicide, abuse, friendship, and learning how to keep secrets. The main character is sick and is resolved to conceal it from her friends. This seems like a flawless and practical storyline. This story will make more youthful characters to look at their lives and realize what is significant.
My lone issue with reading it is because of the same-sex romantic scenes, which are only my personal views. Notwithstanding, it didn't shove away how incredible the story is. I was still able to keep reading the book and enjoyed it, too.
This book creases reasonable for females, or to be immediate, feminists. For that reason, I'll rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. This seems like one of a kind book. I can comprehend needing to fill your last days with fun.
Tales about friendships always make it over my shelves at first since I have a fondness for intelligent works of fiction with solid female leads; it seems like an audacious and endearing story that is a simple read. Aunt Mary Opal might be dying yet she and her young companions share secrets and sisterhood. Who wouldn't have any desire to read something about companionship and love? These ladies have each other's back through various challenges. Something we need more have in the world! I have a soft spot for well-created female writing. Backcomb & Tattoo by Shea R Embry is one of the sorts of books I adore with breathtakingly created characters, transformational stories, carefree moments, intriguing themes and a stunning life message.
