Jonathan Maberry's Joe Ledger series

I just finished the fourth book in the Joe Ledger series(Assassin's Code, the 5th is due this year) and once again I'm completely content with this book as a whole, but anxiously awaiting the next.
If you haven't heard about these books, go out and get the first book, Patient Zero immediately!
Maberry combines incredibly visual action with well thought out supernatural events, and a realistic reaction to each, the antagonists are often as likeable as they are despicable.
Based around a man working for a group called the DMS(Department of Military Science) nothing is off limits as the material includes everything from zombies to genetically created cavemen.
Maberry has quickly become one of my new favorite authors and I strongly recommend his work.
