Review: Not Quite Dating by Catherine Bybee

I haven't read any of Catherine Bybee's books before so this was my first. Boy was I missing out! Lately, I have been sucked into the YA and Paranormal world. It was so nice to just sit down and fall into a contemporary romance for a change!
Not Quite Dating is a down to earth romance about a girl who has been told all her life that it's just as easy to fall in love with a rich guy as it is a poor guy. Jessie has made some mistakes in the romance department and with a sister who lives with her as well as a young son, she can't afford to make anymore. She needs a guy who has it together and can help support her family, not cost her more money down the line.
Jack is mega rich and is tired of women falling all over him for his money. When he meets Jessie, he decides to pretend to be someone else. The white lie could cost him the love of his life.
I loved the chemistry between these characters! Jack, for being someone that has never had to 'work' to get a woman, shows remarkable sticking power as he relentlessly charms Jessie. I was amazed at how strong Jessie turned out to be, I would have caved to Jack's charms well before she did! LOL!
This was a wonderful read that I couldn't put down once I started it! The banter between the two is contagious and you just want to read more!
Bybee has started a great series that left me itching for the next installment! I will definitely be checking out more of her books as well !
