Review of The Fixer Upper

Mary Kay Andrews did an excellent job and keeping me entertained with this light hearted book.
Demsey is a lobbiest whose boss is caught in a scandal. This overflows onto Dempsey, who then is fired. Dempsey ends up at her fathers who offers to split any profits from the sale of a house he inherited, if Dempsey fixes the place up on a measly budget. Dempsey quickly gets in over her head in her adventure producing friends, family and lots of laughs.
I reccommend this to anyone looking for a light read.
