Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a wonderful book that tells the story of four best friends, who by time created a traveling group together, annually doing what they call the Man Missions. Over the course of fifteen years, they travel together to a different country, for a whole week-long vacation and enjoy eating the famous or weird food, like Korean kimchi, Laotian noodles, and Taiwanese street delicacies. As well as, exploring the country by doing some activities like hiking, biking or kayaking.

As time goes by, and they grow up, start families, establish careers and do everything that society expects from them to do, the question to ask is are they happy and satisfied with their lives?
Each year travel experience affects their lives either in a good or bad way and with each experience they learn a new life lesson.

Man Mission is an attractive light book, simple and fun to read, as well as addicting. Personally, I didn't want it to end. It's full of adventures and pearls of wisdom with different viewpoints on many issues of life such as relationships, marriage, career, dreams, and change, encouraging the reader to live the way he or she dreams of, not to be afraid of change and starting from zero toward their own goals. Emphasizing the point that even if the whole world criticizes you and says it's impossible, however, continue to push on. Yet after you have failed or made a mistake because the only one that can build your dream life is you. If you feel tired and depressed, take a break and travel. Try to see life from a different perspective and reflect on your actions, then continue.

I like the structure of the book, that it is divided into fifteen chapters, one for each mission, a quote before the chapter, the main event, then he shifts back and forth in events with well-planned flashbacks. He had written the book in such a good way with wonderful descriptions of the places, making me feel that I have traveled with him, with perfect timing for the flashbacks. He mastered to talk about four people's lives and the changes they got through over time, in a captivating way that made this book one of my favorite. So in my opinion, the editing was incredibly amazing. Besides, I've found no errors. I also like how the author wrote the story of his life through the traveling adventures, for life in itself is like a traveling journey. Moreover, he delivered the lessons he learned through his life journey in a beautiful creative method, that it got to my heart and changed some of my views of life. Likewise, It encouraged me to travel and do some adventures like the ones they did. It also encouraged me to work as a freelancer and reading this kind of book was comforting to me during times of distress.

One the other hand, knowing that it's a book about traveling, I expected him to talk about more adventures and travel experiences in each country though, but I highly recommend this book for traveling lovers and people who seek life learned lessons in a book to reflect on themselves and improve their own lives. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars simply because it deserves. It's an exceptional and remarkable book to read.

This book gives off that "journey to find a life purpose" vibes, and I think that this is light and not so much emotional, but still inspiring and comforting. Thanks for the review!
