Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a fictional story about a group of friends and the many adventures they went on during their adult life. It is packed with fun, adventure, friendship, hardship, and heartbreak. In this story, a group of friends goes on several different adventures around the world. These missions have to be as manly as possible, but still, have to be approved by their wives. Along with the adventures, each of the friends goes through their moments of adulthood in which things get hard, but they could always rely on their friends and the next “Man Mission” to get them through it.

What I liked most about this book was the message. I believe this book did a good job of showing that it is okay to struggle and not know what to do next. It showed that you can rely on your friends to be there for you and that you should not have to feel ashamed of what you are going through. The author wrote this book in a way that made the characters seem very real so that readers can more easily connect and relate, which made the message even stronger. Although I loved all of the adventures and the details of each one, the meaning of the book is what made it so amazing to me.

There is not a lot in this book that I did not like. The story was not at all predictable which kept it very interesting. I thought the pacing, language, and imagery were all very well written. I was able to truly connect with the characters and become emotionally attached. I often found myself laughing at the characters and their mishaps while on a mission. I even could feel the pain of the characters when they were going through a hard time. There is not much else to ask of in a story.

Overall, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars as I believe this book was very well written and edited. Throughout the story, I was always entertained and ready for what was coming next. I even liked the structure of the story and how it had flashbacks within each of the chapters. I normally do not like this style of writing, but I think the author did a very good job of making sure the flashbacks were not overdone and made sense.

I think this book should be read by anyone above the age of 13 as there is a lot of cussing and some sexual content. For anyone else, this book would be a very fun and interesting read. It is suitable for anyone as most people will be able to find it funny, relatable, or both.
