I read this book a while ago and then I saw the movie. Since the book is supposedly based on fact, I thought that the movie would be more representative of it, but it did a poor job (as most movies based on books do).
I also did laugh out loud - it was really funny. I find it hard to believe that this is actually based on the author's personality and behaviors. I really hope for the sake of others he interacts with that it is actually just contrived. But, like you said, it is "naughty and just horrible," so it is very difficult to put down until finished.

I read this book several years ago and enjoyed it quite a bit. Definitely a book for males. It was absolutely hilarious and a fast paced read. Cannot say the same for the adaption to film, I lost interest in it within the first 15 minutes and never finished it.

I couldn't stop reading this book until I finished it. The stories were so awful I just couldn't believe it could get worse. And then it did. I'd compare it to watching a crash, you just can't look away. It's mildly terrifying that people like that exist.
