I'm not one for politics - I have my own opinions and you have yours. I don't care to discuss them with anyone or read about it given the current state of affairs. However, I was scrolling for my next potential read and came across A Woman Does It Better by A Very Lucky Lady. The bright yellow color and the United States seal pulled me to it.

In A Woman Does It Better, the future First Woman President provides an insight into her two terms in office before they have even happened. She provides multiple details into her terms, such as how she really won, wars, and developing a 'Mars and Beyond' aerospace corporation. She also details ideas she had that never went anywhere - ideas she believes could have benefitted the free world, such as an initiative to go green.

This book had a very interesting concept. In the author's own words,
"Written twenty years after she held office, this abridged autobiography is being released now, prior to taking place."
As we know, there has been no female president, so the book has not yet happened. Yet, the author is writing it as if it has happened and the First Woman President (FWP) is reflecting on her presidency.

Certainly, the idea is unique. In fact, at some points, such as when the author references iris scanning, I felt that the book had a futuristic, fantasy appeal. A female president is not the outlandish aspect, rather the supposed changes in the United States. I suppose those will be coming soon either way.

Unfortunately, there were grammatical errors throughout the book. The author misspelled multiple words, amongst other issues. For a book so small to have so many issues, this was not a good sign. In addition to what was counted, there were some potential issues with commas (i.e. separating verb and subject, missing commas). Most, if not all, could be eliminated with another proofread.

Given the amount of grammatical errors, I am unable to give this book more than 3 out of 4 stars. Overall, I did enjoy the book. I found it humorous at times, thoughtful, and unique. However, the grammatical errors were generously scattered throughout the text. Despite this, I would recommend this to others. Specifically, I would recommend those who are interested in political satires, or satires in general, to read this book as it most closely aligns with this genre.

Despite the grammatical errors you found, I think this would be a good book to read. The story sounds very original. Thanks for your insights.

The premise of this book sounds quite intriguing; hopefully, we will see a female president one day! It is too bad about the errors, but other than that, it sounds like an exciting read. Thank you for your lovely review!

Fingers crossed! I would be interesting to see how many of these ideas came through in an actual presidency.
