A three-part series filled with passion, obsession, mystery, absurdity, suspense and true love. Ava O'Shea is a newly single young interior decorator who is assigned a project at The Manor where she meets the owner, Jesse Ward, an intoxicating man of relentless pursuit. The first book in the series, This Man, gives only a glimpse into the story especially in regard to Jesse. The reader is open to deduce a conclusion about him after reading the first book but to understand "This Man" in his entirety, all three books should be read. The second book in the series, Beneath This Man, addresses prior actions and the character of Jesse but every question is answered in the final book, This Man Confessed.

There is a lot of sex but the story line is what compelled me to finish the series. I was unaware this series was erotica when I started reading but once it dawned on me I was too far into the story line that I could not stop. Learning about the characters and their pasts and wondering about their futures was enough to have me hooked and then mournful when the story reached its end.
