Provoked to Anger by Cheray Gardison
People face a lot of problems and go through life storms some give up along the way while others endure until they see light at the end of the tunnel. Some storms build us to become better and also to be able to help others who are going through what we went through.Provoked To Anger by Cheray Gardison is a Christian novel book that shows us problem teenagers and other young youths face. The author Cheray Gardison takes us into the lives of Marrisa and Jeremy who are teenagers both from single mothers

Jeremy met with Marissa at their classmate's Tamika burial ceremony and fell in love with her after an intimate encounter with Marissa after walking her home. Jeremy tried his best to ask Marissa to be his girlfriend but Marissa refused. He kept begging Marissa but Marissa told him to let her be. Jeremy tried to talk with his mother but she did not give Jeremy her time. The question of who is my father began to arise and Jeremy began to feel that his mother was hiding something about his father. Jeremy began to feel rejected and this resulted to suicide, shot himself, and died. Went to hell and back.
Marissa also feels rejected by her mother after she (Marissa) opened up to her mother about Roy the mother's boyfriend had molested her (Marissa) But her mother did not believe her. She is later kidnapped and sold to prostitution.

This story elaborates clearly on the problem teenagers face beginning from families and relationships but with the right guidance, they easily adjust and cope. They both saw the light at the end of the tunnel when they (Marissa and Jeremy) gave their lives to Jesus and became born again Christians.

This book is suitable for all age groups especially teenagers. It will help them encourage others who maybe are going through the same situation as Marrisa and Jeremy.

I would rate the book 4 out of 4 stars because the story was interesting and also had a good flow.

It was such a nice book with the author elaborating on the issues teenagers face and their spiritual connection. Clearly it is a book with a storyline hard to find.
