Lonnie embarks on a journey to find who holds a grudge that much to go as far as finding him in a place he considers remote and safest part of the world.
This was an extremely interesting book and fun book to read, it was like watching an action series. I loved that the aspect of family relations and the major role it plays on our daily lives was greatly portrayed by the writer and made it so relatable. Detailed information about guns and their efficiency made it more intriguing and curious to learn more on guns. The action in it was amazing and would make a great investigative and action movie. The style of writing and descriptive made it easy to visualize and follow the narrative with so much enthusiasm. The narrative contains world of crime that the world as to deal with each and every day. The involvement of cartels in sexual child abuse, selling of young girls to sex trade and crimes that our people and governments have to deal with on daily.
Some of the events were unpredictable but at the same time involving making one not afford to miss a single page as the drama unfolds. I would hold my breath anxiously and eagerly waiting to read of what would happen next. I hope there will be a continuation of the ending as it left me with some of the answered questions. Characters played out so well with their conversations that was so believable and realistic and easy to love and feel their presence and impact in the narrative.
I therefore rate the book 4 out of 4 stars as I didn’t find anything to dislike about it. Errors were minimal and easy to overlook. The editing was done so well and professionally. I would not think twice of reading the previous books in The Border Series, this was an amazing piece written, exceptionally well.
I do recommend The Fugitive to those who love and enjoy action, investigative and thriller stories. This is a great one for people who are also enjoy involving with guns for this is greatly explained as part of the action. The book is easily enjoyed by anyone who loves reading and watching movies.
