I actually haven't read it. I heard it was really good tho. For those of you who have read it I was wondering if a person who isn't a big science fiction fan would like it?

i'm not a big science fiction fan.. and besides the fact the book does take place in space and there are 'buggers'(aliens) it's more about the struggle of a boy. it's a great book.

I had my doubts when it was recommended to me, but Knightss is correct it is more about the character then the place. If you are looking for a good light read this is the book.

I picked up Ender's Shadow from a box at work... I haven't decided yet if I want to read it. Sounds more like my dad's thing.

I hadn't heard much about this book. You all make it sound interesting. Maybe I will read it. What about everyone else? Who else here has read it?

i thought it was a wonderful book and i have read it maybe 3-4 times.

i'm pretty in to sci-fi books, but i would definitely recommend it to someone who isn't really in to that particular genre.
it's mostly about the main characters mental struggles rather than what you would usually find in a sci-fi book.

I wouldn't have thought this would be the kind of book I would like, but from how you all speak of it, the books sounds interesting. I think I am going to read it. :o

I read three Ender books:

Ender's Game
Speaker for the Dead
Xenocide

I loved the first two, but I liked Speaker the best. Card is a good story teller indeed.

Yeah seriously, I usually don't read sci-fi but when the book club at school read it, I loved it! Aww, Ender! I've only read Ender's Game though, not the others.
