The Immortal Circus, should i continue to read it?

Hello,
about two weeks ago I finished reading the immortal circus (not to be confused with the night circus which was a wonderful book) and I am debating on reading the follow up to the books. I liked the book enough, who doesn't like murder and mystery and magic and trying to figure out the good guys from the bad guys? I mean it was a lot of fun to read but i'm just getting so dreadfully tired of trilogies. Does anyone have any advice? does the trilogy close out nicely? Will I be left with memories of the characters stories or will it be as forgettable as the twilight series was? (not to say i didn't love the Twilight series, don't get me wrong, but i wouldn't re-read them, and when the movies were released so long after the books i didn't have as many implicit memories as my friends did who'd read the book just a short while before the movie(s) came out).
Input would be greatly appreciated here,
Thanks
wealth, Health and Love to all of you,
Jess
