Writing a book can be a fun thing to do. But, what if you don't know what to write? Where would you find your inspiration for the characters, scenario, lines, and others? If you want to read an amusing book about two friends who struggle to earn some money and write a book from scratch, this book is perfect for you.

The plot of this book is set in the 1960s. Ralph is an artist who is in trouble because he cannot sell any of his work. He decides to move to New York and begin a new life doing something he likes, and that is writing. In another part of the world, Franny travels to New York from Ukraine to study. Franny ends up in the same apartment building as Ralph. Harvey is a writer who happens to be Ralph's and Franny's next-door neighbor. As the story develops, Ralph and Harvey realize they are both writers with the same dream. They organize the contest in which Franny is the judge. Eventually, they bond together and decide to create a book. Their inspiration is daily life and the people around them. Will they succeed?

At Day's End, I'll Always Be Me by Jerry A. Greenberg is a book about two young men on their path to stars. This book is different from others because it shows the actual writing process. At Day's End, I'll Always Be Me consists of many chapters, where each chapter belongs to one of the characters. I like that style of writing because we get to read the book from more than one perspective. I also have to mention the author's mesmerizing descriptions of the houses and people in the 1960s. I could imagine the scenes very vividly because the descriptions were perfect. The characters are described well, and each of them has a background the author carefully developed. My favorite character is Ralph because he was brave enough to confront his mother and travel to New York to begin a new life. There is absolutely nothing I dislike about this book.

The editors of this book did an excellent job since there are no mistakes in the text. The author used light profane words throughout the text, and there are also no graphic scenes present in the book.

I am giving this book 4 out of 4 stars. Jerry A. Greenberg did a magnificent job with this book, and he successfully brought it to life. I enjoyed reading it, and every history lover will enjoy reading it, too. It is suitable for any audience since there is not too much profanity used in it.
