Review of Strong Heart
Strong Heart by Charlie Sheldon is a story about two old friends, Tom and William, William has a daughter, Myra, and the other a granddaughter, Sarah. Tom did not know about Sarah until his ex, Ruth, showed up with her not wanting her and saying she had their child and Tom’s daughter died leaving the granddaughter without a mother. Sarah is a teenager but brave. She does not go by the rules and thinks her grandfather and his friend are old and boring but not until they go on a journey that changes their lives forever. Tom decides to go visit his grandfather’s grave in the forest that he died and was buried in and to come home with peace in his soul and decides to take William, Myra, and Sarah with him but peace isn’t what he brings back; chaos and the impossible is what he will have after that journey. The forest according to the legends is a land of magic, the first people and adventure and that is what they shall see.
Charlie Sheldon has written an amazing book that takes the mind to a wonderful world of fantasy and also how fantasy can be connected to reality. The story is unique and unlike anything I have read/watched before. Strong Heart have got exciting turns of events and ending too. I wish there was a part 2 for this book because for me the journey is not over, it is just beginning and what a beautiful journey it is in this book. The book is short not like the classic 700 pages novels and it has loads of content in it plus the book does not waste time at all making a person read the book overnight because of the anticipation.
They were some minor errors but not major mistakes. Examples would be joined words together making one sentence like it is one word of 30 letters on pages 9 and 118. Other minor errors would be missing commas, speech marks, and other punctuations and sometimes prepositions too like on pages 45, 86, 137, 167, 188, and 206. These errors did not stop me from reading certain sentences but they were easy to spot. Sometimes the chapters are written professionally and sometimes with idioms making the language used basic within the chapters.
The book is excellent to the point you would not care about minor mistakes in it. The content is good enough to distract your mind from spotting any mistakes and you simply keep focusing on what is going to happen next. That is why I am rating this book 4 out of 4 stars .
The events of the story change every chapter which makes the book the opposite of boring and it is also easy to read. Although it is an excellent book, it contains some violent scenes which sometimes annoy readers when they try to imagine it. I would not recommend this book to those readers. The book takes you on a wild adventure and if you are looking for something thrilling and adventurous to read, this book is for you.
