It was touching that the mother thought he was such a nice man, even when she didn’t remember he was her husband. Sweet family; sweet book. I hope you get a chance to read it. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment!

The things that we encounter can either make us or break us. The book delves into the life of Gabriel Bron and his ordeals. His family has experienced quite a lot and I would love to know how it ended. Thanks for your review.

I have never lived with or spent time with an old person before. I’ll read this book just get a full experience from the book. I love my family and I’ll love to read more about Mr Bron’s love for his own family.

Yes, his family experienced quite a lot, but their love and their memories provided them with great strength. Thank you for your comment. I hope you have the chance to see how it ended.

I hope you one day have the pleasure of spending time with an "old person," especially a family member that you love. It is truly a blessing. Thank you for your comment.

What a beautiful book! We all age, eventually, and as was said, it is both beautiful and challenging. I have several family members of old age who currently suffer from dementia. I think this book could offer some comfort and peer support. 🤔 I like how you describe this book: peaceful, respectful, humorous, emotional. Sounds like a life of an elderly person at its best 😍

Thank you for the lovely review!

I like how it handles a serious topic for many- growing old. I can't wait to peruse this book, hopefully I derive the same enjoyment as you. Excellent job as always.
A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it.

The only person who can sympathize with and understand you, is you. So, be good to yourself.

It is a beautiful book, both in content and delivery. I think you will find comfort and camaraderie in these stories. I actually found my dad's dementia to be a blessing towards the end because it buffered him from some tough conversations we had with doctors who did not have much bedside manner.

This book is a lovely adventure both for those who have had experience caring for older loved ones and for those who want a glimpse of what it's like to do it in a loving and respectful way. I hope you have the opportunity to check it out.

This is one of those books that will linger in your heart. Some of the situations were familiar to me, and I felt like I knew this family by the end of the book. I hope you have the chance to read it.
