Review of A Place Under the Sun

[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "A Place Under the Sun" by Luis Urtueta.]
There are different individuals at different places and with different personalities in our world today. A Place Under the Sun by Luis Urtueta is the story about Henry, a Spanish introvert who struggled in the business world, with all the feeling of being out of place and not being enough. A project with Santiago leads to a search for Bernard. Does he find Bernard? What becomes of him? He struggled with personal relationships, too, and could not relate much with extrovert personalities, both personally and professionally. Henry's love life was still a dream. He lost every girl he met and somehow managed to keep them only in his memory. How will he be able to navigate through these storms and all that life throws at him?
I would never believe someone could write a book this interesting about introverts. Introverts are known to be boring and vulnerable, but Luis managed to make this point interestingly. Henry is an engaging personality, fitting into every description you can ever think of, of an introvert. This is the part of the book I loved so much. Also, I liked the diction and the use of words.
In my opinion, this book would help a lot of people in self-discovery, especially the fourth part of the book, where Henry met Bernard on his first night in Paris (but you must read it from the beginning to fully understand). The talk Henry had with Bernard brought about a realization of the obvious fact that Henry hadn't yet found his place (under the sun), and it seemed like he needed a push to find his place.
Henry was dedicated to his Roman Catholic religious beliefs but didn't practice them in the real sense. He went against the rules that guided the Christian faith. Part of this was that he smoked and drank to drunkenness, which occurred in several scenes in the book. I wouldn't say I liked this part of the book. But it is a subjective preference, but it didn't affect the book's beauty.
The book was well edited. I just found a few errors. But the contents were disorganized. While reading, I saw paragraphs that I considered too long for a regular book, and some were too short, like just a sentence, even though the right spacing was used. This is also a challenge that I didn't like about the book.
A Place Under the Sun deserves 3 out of 4 stars due to the issues I discussed in the paragraph above. I believe this book would help those who would read it, not just as a form of entertainment but as a self-help book on self-discovery.
If you are an introvert, still struggling to discover the right place for you, this book is for you. It would help you discover how to face the challenges of life regardless of the odds that come with your personality.
