Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a fictional book that captures the adventure of four men through their bachelor's life, marriage life, and careers. It became an annual event to embark on a man mission trip to any country of their choice, and such adventures involve hiking, trekking, biking, swimming, or kayaking. And, through these annual events, relieve themselves of unnecessary pressure and serve as a source of redemption.

Man Mission is intriguing and entertaining. The author did a very wonderful job in the character development and twisting. The character of the protagonist was my favorite character of the book. I keep wondering why he joined the man mission crew in the first place because he was soft-hearted and the weakest among the four, and it sounds ridiculous of him to be in the man mission crew. The early kick-off of their adventure, between him and Sam in New Zealand, will give readers the first instance of his weak nature where he sustained a knee ligament and nail injury even though the clown said it made him feel manly, and that sounds hilarious.

I enjoyed their adventure in Niigata, Japan, where they visited an ancient temple and met with a 72-year-old man, Mr. Tageta, the temple guide, who helped them explore the temple grounds by taking them around. The writer's ability to keep the readers' minds engrossed while reading by switching between stories is noteworthy. The protagonist takes the readers through his marriage life with Rachel, which later ended in divorce. However, his marriage journey will serve as a guide to those who wish to have a happy marriage at home.

The book explores themes of not just adventures but also friendship, which can be felt in how the four friends remain attached and helpful to each other throughout their adventures, and this demonstrates the importance of having true friends. The book took me through a range of emotions while I connected and felt deeply for the main character. I appreciate the writer's effort to give a summary note at the end of each chapter, which he tagged as vital statistics, and then start each chapter with a motivational quote and a Bible quotation, followed by a map illustrating the next region of their adventure. All these made me comprehend well while reading.

Furthermore, the book has a taste of romance in it, which will captivate readers who enjoy reading romance books, and I enjoyed this aspect of the book. I enjoyed the romance between the protagonist and Lara, which was not unconnected to his divorce from Rachel. The book contains a lot of profanity, which makes it suitable for mature teens and adults only. Man Mission is an exceptionally well-edited book,  and I cannot point out any aspect of the book I dislike. Therefore, a maximum rating of four out of four stars is in order. Mature teens and adults who enjoy reading romance and adventure books will benefit from this book.

The plot seems interesting and I'd like to read the part when the characters visited ancient temple in Japan. Thanks for the review!

Romance and adventure are two of my favorite genres, and it seems this one was well executed. I look forward to reading it. Nice review.

I think that more men need to take time with their friends away from life’s responsibilities. I also find myself interested in what went wrong with Rachel and how that’s fixed with Lara. Thanks for the review!
