Review of Man Mission
Man mission is a story written by Eytan Uliel centred around the goals and dreams of four friends. The four Australian men envisioned travelling, hiking and biking in other countries. The dream came through when Sam texted Eytan; one of them about starting the trip they planned then, their first mission was to hike at Harper's pass trail new Zealand where Eytan got injured but still persevered and continued the journey, on their way they met some drug lords who helped transport Eytan to a nearby hospital. The second-year they planned another mission to hike at Houston Island in Japan then proceeded with Daniel Joining in the third man mission of River Kayaking in Murray River, Australia and Alec joining the trio in their fourth man mission of cycling in Australia. The man mission helps the four men; relieve stress from work, have personal time to seek growth and fulfilment and also ponder about their marital life.
The book was written uniquely and dynamically in a way that every mission was fully and explicitly written about. Eytan revealed about man's code the mysteries about the wildness of man and exploration of manhood as seen through the eyes of the four Australian men. I love the way Eytan portrayed the four men as human beings with flaws and consistent life challenges. The character which I fell in love with the most is Alec, he lived his life setting his own pace, while others were busy settling down and starting up their own family he never felt pressured to do the same. I also love Eytan portrayal of Rachael, she was able to let go of her relationship when she couldn't find joy and happiness in the relationship irrespective of how long the relationship had been. Eytan Uliel was able to write explicitly about each of their missions which was captivating and also gave an insight into each place visited by the four men and their cultures.
While this is a great book, Eytan kept using the word ''I" for the protagonist instead of mentioning his name which made it a little bit confusing at first about the name of the character. Also, the font used was not eye-friendly.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, it was professionally edited, there was no grammatical error or typographical error. The book was written in a way that can be understood by anyone that comes across it.
The book can be recommended to lovers of sci-fi and readers that love exploring and travelling.
