Title: Strong Heart
Author: Charlie Sheldon
Genre: Adventure, Fantasy
Year of Publication: 2012

The book Strong Heart is an adventure and fantasy novel that started out in front of Tom Olsen's doorstep. The author, Charlie Sheldon, wrote this novel which was published as the first tale in the Strong Heart series in 2012.

The main character of the book, Strong Heart, is Sarah, a teenage orphan who takes part in a journey as ancient as humanity itself. Sarah soon learns how to survive and discover herself in an unforgiving landscape wilderness of the Olympic Peninsula, and the ice age weave of the North Pacific Ocean. Because Sarah showed up in Tom Olsen's life as his grandaughter right at the time he was planning to leave on a backpacking trip with his friends, and reluctantly took her along to teach her experiences related to maturity, grit, and character. They soon realized they are wrong. There are many twists and turns for Sarah, Tom, and his friends to make their journey to Bob-Bob's gravesite an adventurous one.

I think Strong Heart is an excellent adventure and fantasy novel. Though it deals with fantastic elements such as extinct animals, magic, artifacts, it showcases the value of contemporary items and also shows that with rediscovery, comes growth. It also teaches a lot about the love of family, friendship, courage, and strength. Hence, I recommend this novel for both teenagers and adults.

In conclusion, there is nothing I dislike about the book because I find the story fascinating and well detailed. Therefore, I am glad to rate Strong Heart a well deserved four out of four stars.
