Review of Man Mission
Eytan Uliel’s Man Mission tells the narrative of four guys who have been friends for years and have been through unique life experiences together. This book sits well with people who enjoy travel and adventure. Join Sam on his fun-filled adventure with his friends in this book, and you may want to recreate their fun experiences.
The plot of this novel begins with the protagonist in law school. While on campus, he develops a connection with Sam, whom he initially mistook for an arrogant boy. During a tour of campus, they come up with an idea to embark on a journey that will have a long-term positive impact on them, which led to the formation of Man Mission. Although they were in law school when they came up with the idea, the very first Man Mission took place years later when they became career men with limited time to spend together as friends. Sam picks up his phone and calls his old friend regarding their idea in law school, and they both embark on the first Man Mission. It became a culture every year. Their other two friends eventually joined the founders on other subsequent Man Missions.
The participants’ lives were forever changed as a result of Man Mission. The different Man Missions took them to various countries such as New Zealand, Japan, Australia, South Africa, and Iceland. The author added a map to describe each country that was visited. The four men experienced both delight and anguish from their different Man Missions, which occurred against the backdrop of evolving family dynamics. Each chapter begins with two interesting quotes. The first one was by a notable individual, and the other from the Bible. These quotes send a message to the readers.
This narrative did not only entertain me, but it also taught me a lot. I gained knowledge about the different countries they visited. I also admired their bravery to embark on difficult terrains. Despite the difficulties, they continued on with their task. Sam was bold, so he didn’t mind going on a mission by himself despite his injury. Man Mission has inspired me to add some new destinations to my trip wish list. It also encouraged me to be courageous in life, despite the challenges that may occur. I like how the text is divided into three sections: beginning, middle, and end. Each section was a different phase of the protagonist’s life. I found nothing to dislike about this book.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I didn’t deduct a star because the book was professionally edited, and I liked how well the author wrote about the missions alongside what happened in their personal lives. I would not recommend this to younger audiences because it contains profanity and some sexual content. Adults who are travel enthusiasts and food lovers would enjoy this novel.

I agree with you on this. It was really unfair and I felt bad for them. I hope such wouldn't happen to me when i am married.

The same thing happened to me, I loved the touching plots , the author perfectly switched from the missions to their family lives.danopsyfarm1 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2022, 10:43 Reading this book made me want to embark on some journey of my own. The book also had touching plots especially of the four men and their women. Nice review.
