Man mission is a tale of adventure. It is a book written by Eytan Uliel who is adventurous and a lover of nature himself. The tale involves the narrator and his three best friends (Sam, Daniel, and Alec) on wild trips. The trips are conducted once a year involving a lot of walking, hiking, biking, talking, kayaking, and camping in the wild or lodging. It creates a time-space where the men can be themselves. They crack jokes, tell secrets to each other, and experience lots of happiness. The narrator tells expeditions in fifteen chapters where each chapter covers an adventure in a different location and year. The beginning is just the narrator and Sam then later the other two friends go along. Their lives also develop from getting engaged to marriages and kids with jobs that require a lot of exertion. The friends suffer some physical injury as well as emotional distress. This is most prominent to the narrator. The injuries get lesser with every trip due to field experience.

I liked the narration. It is like a friend telling you about their life with many funny points. The book shows men undergo pain and they need someone to understand them. The narrator has a difficult time after parting ways with his wife and children. The adventures are a break from a tiring day-to-day routine. The trips are marked by special occasions such as coming across drug lords, wonderful food, strange places that completely change after a small distance, and wonders in a temple. The author has put a Bible quote as well as quotes from authors, movie actors, business people, inventors, and people who inspire men to strive for the decent life they desire. The man charter is one part that will make the reader laugh.

I could not find anything to dislike. The story is wonderfully told. The main characters are men yet women color their lives in every corner. The families prevail through togetherness. The exotic sites visited pique the reader's curiosity. One can see the importance of getting out of tedious all-year-round tasks to get a fresh breath of air. I liked how the book is organized in each chapter with complete events. Eytan has used flashbacks to build the story into wholeness. During the trip, we learn what happened between the current trip and the previous one. There are lessons to learn from nature, from men and men in nature. The book is exceptionally edited.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 because I liked it, how nature is explored, and the lessons therein. The book shows a side of life that is mostly neglected in the literature.

This book is a must-read for every man. It will help them discover they are not alone in their plans of adventure. Those who have been postponing a trip may get motivated to start. Everyone who likes to travel and tour places will love the book. It will give ideas on new things to try. Women will find the book enlightening about men. It will help them to understand choices and needs by men to go out somewhere with their fellow men.
