I very much enjoyed the book Strong Heart by Charlie Sheldon. The characters were colorful and had depth to them, and it was nice getting to know them and their backgrounds throughout the story.
When young Sarah enters the story and begins this trip, the story takes a turn I was not expecting but very much enjoyed. Learning about the past and through that past also learning about the future is essential for the survival of generations. Sarah not only learns from her grandfather and elder relatives but they also learn from her.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 for easy reading, excellent material, and enjoyability.
I appreciated the authors research into legends, and this research made the book realistic and enjoyable for me.
I feel that most audiences age 13 plus would enjoy this book and perhaps younger children 9 to 12 if it is read to them or certain sections explained.
I am looking forward to reading further books from this author.
