Review of Man Mission
Mostly in life, a journey to a place away from home rekindles our interest and commitment. A trip aimed at relaxation is always a great adventure full of fun. However, it is more fun if you have friends with whom you can make the trip. Such trips clear one’s mind of worries, engagements, and frustrations. It is the perfect antidote to a fresh start. In the book Man Mission, Eytan Uliel narrates a fifteen-year trip of four friends. Eytan and Sam started the trip and later invited Alec and Daniel. The trip started in New Zealand but spanned into countries like Iceland, Hawaii, etc. The story presents their experiences on this new journey of a yearly vacation alongside their personal stories. I leave it to the reader to discover what united them all these years and what their life story turned out to be.
The beauty of a yearly vacation is well expressed in this book. It also shows the power of friendship. And these are lovable. I also loved the author’s expressions and use of words. Another aspect of the book that I loved was the adventures and beauty of adventure. The author described the experiences in such a vivid manner that the reader may believe he or she is present at the location. The author also shared details of his personal life in such a way that the reader could draw strength from his vulnerability. His financial challenges, love life, and personal journeys were all presented in such a way that they could aid the reader in finding purpose in life, and I also loved this aspect of the book.
The author wrote well, but there are certain event repetitions that I did not like in the book. However, the storyline is clear and motivating. It is a splendid book.
I rate this book [b[4 out of 4[/b] because the author wrote the story in such a way that the reader could visualize himself as the individual in the story. There is a flair or reality in the book as one could connect the events in the story with one’s daily life experiences. The author also showed the power of a vacation. Overall, it is an influential book and deserves this rating.
I recommend this book to individuals who enjoy adventures and vacations. It also teaches life lessons to young adults who are settling into a career and struggling with life’s challenges.
