Following four friends from college, where the first Man Mission started from an idea innocently tossed around between two friends, this book takes us through the life of four friends. From their dating lives, their marriages, raising their children, and their annual yearly Man Mission. These missions were, at the start, just some fun, but slowly they became an escape from their work and home stress. It shows how each of these four men deals differently; with what they all experience in life. No matter how much you think you are the only one feeling that way, it may surprise you to know that you are not. As they grow older, they strive to hold on to their youth, resulting in their missions getting more extravagant, dangerous, and badass than the previous year. For 15 years, they took one week every year in search of peace, happiness, and adventure. Will one of them finally realize what a real man's mission is all about? Or does this book put any truth behind the saying that men never grow older they get more expensive toys?

Negatively this book reminds us that heartache escapes no one in the general walk of life, no matter how positive you start. You don't go through life with any guarantee in your back pocket.

Positively no matter how far you go astray, life still offers you second chances. Friends are always on your journey, whether it's old friends at home or fly-by-night you meet by chance in a far-away land. The lessons you must learn will heal you even if you meet those lessons strangely.

Eyton Uliel is also a traveler who journals his adventures on his blog, The Road Warrior. Born in Jerusalem, he studied and graduated in New South Wales. He practiced corporate law and then switched careers to become an investment banker. He also had several other occupations after that. He brings us the epic adventure, Man Mission. It is brilliant, enjoyable, funny, adventurous, and deals with daily life. I give this book a rating of 4 out of 4.

I recommend this book to anyone who would like to read about adventure mixed with heartache and hope. Although it is a work of fiction, it deals with everyday problems. It could well be an autobiography of anyone's life, from starting positive in college, career, and marriage to meeting real life as an adult to dealing with a midlife crisis. It generally deals with everyday life. It is extraordinarily well-written, funny, and fresh.

Since this book deals with everyday life and the problems one faces, I'm sure any reader could learn a thing or two. I wonder what was the real man's mission that was hopefully discovered by one of the four friends.

I'm so glad Eytan and his friends were able to continue their explorations. This type of commitment is made by many friendship groups. However, not everyone is able to follow through in school. The adventure and drama in this novel wowed me, and I am confident that any reader who enjoys the adventure genre would enjoy it.

The theme of friendships seems to be central in this book. The bond the group of friends share and the commitment they show to each other despite going through numerous challenges in their individual lives is mindblowing. Thanks for the great review.
