Review of Man Mission
Eytan Uliel is the author of Man Mission. The book delves into the bittersweet journey of some men who are full of adventures and laughter. It also tells the story of men seeking stability and fulfillment. Two young men went on a trip that later turned into an annual adventure. As the story progressed, they grew to four men who embarked on an adventurous journey within fifteen years. At first, the sole purpose of their trips was to have fun and experience what it was like to be outside of their comfort zone. They engaged in several activities, such as biking, kayaking, camping, and several others. They also came into contact with tragic happenings. Eventually, life led them into blissful marriages. However, things started taking negative turns in their lives. One would wonder if things would go back to normalcy for these friends. Read this incredible book to find out.
We live in a world where it seems like being averse to expressing oneself is part of being a man. However, Eytan advised that it is okay for men to express their feelings in certain situations. I loved that the author emphasized that being a man does not mean not having feelings. I also learned that often, stepping outside of your comfort zone will help you discover yourself. In addition, when unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances arise, staying in guilt and regret does not improve the situation. Rather, it depletes it further. This book will teach you to forgive yourself and move on to healing and happiness.
Due to the author’s success in making the plot plain and understandable, my interest was piqued. In addition, I loved the author’s graphic description of all the places the characters visited. This is because it made me connect more with the characters and events. Also, I was satisfied with how the book ended because some of my questions were answered.
I do not have any real complaints about this book. Nonetheless, I found several unfamiliar words in it. Although this slowed down my reading, it had little to do with my overall appreciation of the book. Considering that I found only an error, this book was professionally edited. Consequently, it deserves a rating of four out of four stars.
Man Mission will be suitable for adults who revel in adventure novels and people seeking to get their feet back into relationships that went sideways. Therefore, I recommend it to them.
