Review of Man Mission
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a fictional novel about four friends who make it an annual thing to go on an adventure together each year. The life journey they have and the experiences that they share. This is a real book about friendship. It means to truly have someone who will always be there for you through the good and the bad stuff that life deals with. And it is also about finding ourselves and overcoming hardships.
This book was great. I enjoyed it so much. It was easy to become captivated by the adventures these friends had and all the different places that they visited. I liked the strong bond these friends have with each other. They never judged each other for the bad mistakes and life choices they sometimes made. Eytan Uliel did a great job of describing all these different places and what makes them different from each other and what makes each country unique. You can really see that the author has experience in traveling. I greatly enjoyed the adventure they had in South Africa, because it is where I am from. And the way that Eytan Uliel describes the encounter with an elephant and a lion was spot-on.
One question stated in Man Mission grabbed my attention. When they discussed and pondered if all of it had a point. A quote from the book: “There was a road stretching out ahead of us. We had no choice but to go where it went, and ride into the direction it took us. Sometimes that road went left, and sometimes that road went right, sometimes up, sometimes down. But always it led us forward.” A person can also apply this to everyday life. Life goes one direction, and there isn’t much that we can do about it, but go with it and make the best of it, and be our best selves. What we experience in life is what matters, and how we handle the bad days. And know that every day is different.
There wasn't anything that I did not like or did not enjoy about this book. Every chapter was filled with fun, drama, and adventure.
I rate Man Mission 4 out of 4 stars because it was well written and it was a great adventure story. This book does not have many grammatical errors. The book is effortless and very enjoyable to read.
I recommend this book to adults who enjoy travel novels and adventure stories. Not recommended to children because of crude humour/language and some mild adult content. This book is a must-read.
