Satan's Greatest Lies by George H. Russell is a book that opens the eyes of the ethical believers and some doubting Christians to the lies that they've been continuously told and made to uphold as the true teachings and meaning of the scripture.

The author counters the alleged false teachings and beliefs of some Christians by interpreting and explaining the actual meaning of the scripture under the Ethician Bible. He admonishes Christians to desist from believing and practicing the supposed absurd truth of the teachings of the Bible, which they have held on to out of ignorance.

This book also has the outlined teachings of the Ethician Bible, which excludes the Satanic verses contained in the Holy Bible, as implied by the author.

There is only one positive aspect to this book which is the scripture and teachings of Christ outlined in the second segment of this book. I found that interesting and somewhat engaging, although I did not understand most of what was being taught. The above is the only thing I took a liking to in this book.

There are lots of things I do not like about this book. Generally, I do not like the concept of the first segment of this book, what it talks about, and all there is to it. For a religious book or a book that teaches about religion, this book contains rather explicit profane and vulgar words. It may seem as though the author is cursing out the readers; I find that quite unethical. I believe the author can still pass across his message without having to sound dirty. Again, the second segment of this book, which is the scriptural aspect, was written in early modern English, which made it quite hard for me to comprehend. Also, I feel that this book spoke ill of the Holy Bible while trying to promote the Ethician religion and Bible, respectively.

I recommend this book to all persons of the Ethician Religion, persons who believe in biblical inerrancy, and persons who believe in the teachings of Christ.

This book was well written and professionally edited. Only a few errors were spotted while I read this book. I rate this book 2 out of 4 stars. I give this book this rating because more than half of this book's content does not appeal to me. Also, the massive use of vulgar words in this book affected my rating of this book.

I was planning on reading this book but now it doesn't seem to appeal to me as much. However, I would like to know the author's perspective of things regarding The Holy Bible. Thank you for your review.

There are many different beliefs out there and I don’t know anything about the Ethician religion. Profane words in a book of an kind about religion, however, DO seem out of place.
