Have you ever read a book and felt it was worth the time spent reading it? This was the feeling I got after reading this book. Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a humorous book on adventure, friendship, dedication, and difficulties. It is a satisfying narrative of macho guys' vacations and intuitive thoughts on men’s life experiences.

Man Mission is a story about four Australian friends and college classmates–Charles, Sam, Daniel, and Alec. These friends agreed to go on trips every year, which they maintained for fifteen years, starting in their late twenties. They went hiking, biking, and kayaking in different countries, such as New Zealand, Thailand, Korea, South Africa, Iceland, Japan, Spain, Fiji and many more places. Over the years, these friends started their families, built their careers, and figured their lives out. However, when the difficulties of life came knocking, the annual Man Mission becomes a bolt for freedom, a fount of secureness, and a redemption site.

I was impressed by how the author arranged this book into two parts–a part that talked about the lives of these four men and another that gave a detailed description of their vacations. I also loved that there were lots of life lessons to learn from this book, which include effective communication, trust, marriage, loyalty, and many more.

In addition, the title, pink bracelet of shame, awarded to the person who whines the most among the four friends, added humor to this book. The author used maps to show the places these friends visited during their trips at the beginning of each chapter. This made Man Mission more practical, and I loved the concept. As someone who has a great interest in traveling, this book gave me the motivation to indulge more in doing things I enjoy. Therefore, I appreciate the author greatly for this excellent piece.

It was difficult to find anything I disliked about this book. Hence, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, as I enjoyed every part of this book. Also, this book was edited professionally.

I recommend this book to lovers of adventure and great stories. This book is suitable for any reader who also has an interest in traveling. Also, men will find it more enjoyable, and I recommend this book to them. It also contains short verses from the Bible. However, it doesn't prevent people with contrasting beliefs from enjoying this book.

What I would love about this book is the brotherhood of the four friend. It must be hard for them when they failed to continue with their adventures. I enjoyed the review!
