Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is about a group of men who had been friends since college days in law school. They had always dreamed of travelling the world and seeing what was "out there," so to speak. When they were able enough financially, they decided that it was a good time to start making these trips.

They travelled all around the world yearly. This became like a thing they did as a way of connecting and bonding with each other. These were more than safaris to them. Through experiencing different cultures and ways of lives, they discovered themselves more. They learned and unlearned a lot of things and beliefs that they had in their lives. About themselves and their friends and life partners.

What I liked about this book was that it shed more light on man groups and men's lives. More books should be written about men and their struggles and successes. The boy child is often ignored in this era that more attention is being paid to girl children and the boys are forgotten. In this case, men. I feel like the author did a great job in this course. It was also interesting to read themes that are real and that affect real people. Seeing how these men grew from college days to being father’s and taking up more responsibility was really moving.

However, I had a problem with how the author portrayed certain cultures. There are a lot of stereo types that have stigma attached to them and I feel like the author somehow perpetrated this. The light in which some of these cultures were branded looked a little negatively stereotypic. There was no spelling mistake or grammatical error in the book which led me to think it was well edited.

It is only fair that I rate the book as 4 out of 4 because I liked how the storyline was well paced. The characters were well developed. All of them in their own way added richly to the plot of the book. Also, I liked the author's use of vivid description in his narration style. It made me feel as though I was watching them go up the mountains and down the hills. There was also a lot of humour that made the mood of the book really light and fun. There was also an element of suspense that made the book very intriguing and also made it interesting to read. This book would be a good recommendation to young adults, especially young men.
