The Preparation For The Ministry of The Gospel by Pastor Sebastiao Muanza is a non-fiction book of 215-pages. This book is volume 1, which comprises 5-chapters and covers the following topics: The studies of the ministry, The church, The five-fold ministry, The ministerial functions in a local church and The priesthood.

The Preparation For The Ministry of The Gospel by Pastor Sebastiao Muanza is a step-by-step guide for ministers who have just received a ministerial calling from God. This book would also be of inestimable value to ministers already in the propagation of Jesus Christ, servants in the church, church members and researchers.

There are a lot of positive aspects of this book which aided my understanding and enjoyment of the book. First among them is the simple language and the use of tables adopted by the author. It made the information in the book very easy and quick to grasp. The author's concise definition, distinction and explanation of the concepts in this book were quite exceptional. For example, in chapter three of this book, the author carefully define, explain and distinguish amongst apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and doctor in the house of the Lord, with each function and role spelt out.

Additionally, this book is a guide with practical examples that would assist the targeted audience in achieving their calling missions. For instance, under the heading titled "The Baptism Service," the author did not stop at defining and explaining what Baptism is but gave a brief history of Baptism in the Holy Bible, the process of Baptism, who officiates Baptism service, the duties and responsibilities of Baptizers, to mention but few.

Furthermore, what I like again about this book is the amount of research the author invested in this book, as is evident in the Bible verses quoted at the introduction of any topic throughout this book. I would, therefore, advise readers to have The Holy Bible close to them if they desire to have an enjoyable experience reading this book.

There is nothing I dislike about this book, except that I found more than ten typos, and this would constrain me from giving The Preparation For The Ministry of The Gospel by Pastor Sebastiao Muanza the maximum rating. I, therefore, give this book a three out of four stars rating for being diligently written to inform and guide readers with practical examples of the functions, characteristics and roles of every member of the Church of God.

I highly recommend The Preparation For The Ministry of The Gospel by Pastor Sebastiao Muanza to ministers, servants in the church, researchers, and every Christians irrespective of the denomination.

I guess the book is quite handy for aspiring ministers, but I don't think that I'm a part of its target audience. Nevertheless, the simple language and insightful explanations would be helpful for those interested in the topic. Thanks for a great review!
