What do you call a group of four men going on an adventure around different countries in the world even when faced with different circumstances, sometimes life-threatening? Well, I wouldn’t know, but this author calls it "Man Mission." In Eytan Uliel’s Man Mission, four close friends get to leave work and other worldly stress and pressure and go on a trip where they could learn how to be men. The mission consisted of fifteen trips across various countries, including New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, South Korea, and Japan, to name a few. It was originally put together by the protagonist and his friend Sam, and for the first mission, they went to New Zealand. Although they ran into some drug traffickers and even sustained injuries, they weren’t deterred. And before long, they were able to convince their friends to join them. What started as a joke soon became an annual ritual, as each trip appeared to be healing of some sort. They could simply unwind and do things out of their comfort zone.

What is there not to like about this book? The storytelling was marvelous; the plot was original and exciting, with a lot of adventure and thrill. For those who have ever wanted to travel, this book will make you feel like you are with them through every journey. What's more, the adventures were exciting. We saw them engage in activities like trekking, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, and even mountain climbing.

I have to give all praise to the author as I could find no negative aspect. I particularly loved the fact that there was a map at the beginning of each trip. It provided a glimpse of what to expect in the next chapter. We also saw them battle with their individual problems, ranging from careers to marriage, child training, divorce, and many more. However, we were able to see how they tackled it and solved it. One could learn a lot of lessons from their experience. In the end, it is worthwhile to note that being a man isn’t easy. It comes with a lot of responsibilities.

There is no doubt that this book has been exceptionally well edited, as I couldn’t find any fault or error in the book. I have no choice but to give this amazing piece a four out of four stars.

Therefore, I would love to recommend this book to lovers of adventures and thrillers. But it is not limited to only them. This amazing book can be enjoyed by any lover of good books.
