Review of Man Mission
Reading this book is beholding the realization of a dream that most male friends wish to accomplish. Go out in the world looking for that incredible adventure that you will never forget. That is what this book is all about. Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a work of fiction that unfolds a four men, fifteen years, one epic journey.
In the story, four best friends establish a tradition of annually epic adventures throughout the most challenging places in the world, performing radical sports. In addition, it follows the life development of each one of the characters and unveils the happy and sad moments they face in life and how they overcome them.
This story focuses more on the male side of the story. I am pretty sure that men will enjoy this book more than women. It presents the challenging role of the man in society from childhood to adulthood. The drama that men face. The expectations that men are obliged to attain in order to be considered a man in society. Nevertheless, it is a very interesting story; I loved it from the book I read on the first page to the moment I read the last one.
The story is very well structured, and the author commences each chapter with cotes on what is to learn in the coming pages. Apart from that, there is a sort of foreshadowing moment right at the beginning of each adventured narration. The characters are very well built, each with its own unique personality. Moreover, the story is loaded with drama that is going to allow the reader to experience sadness and compassion. And it also has very funny moments that will make you laugh out loud. This story is a perfect cocktail. Moreover, this book is not appropriate for underage readers due to the sensitive content portrayed in some instances throughout the book. Therefore, the only aspect I disliked was the problem with the pages, whereby the first page is always fully zoomed and the second one is not. This problem goes on till the end of the book.
I gladly decided to rate with 4 out of 4 stars because I loved the story. It made me remember a similar dream that my friends and I had but never decided to fulfill. The story is so gluing that almost do not leave the book until you finish. The book was well edited. I hardly found any mistakes. I recommend this book to all men, to people who enjoy adventures and to people who want to undertake a certain adventure but have not decided to do it yet. This book can give them the missing motivation.
