Review of Man Mission
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is an intriguing work of fiction that delves into the lives and ordeals of four friends. The book contains 378 pages, and it is divided into three parts with fifteen chapters. The book starts with the main character's decision to attend the food fair event happening in his school. He attended the event with his friend, Sam, and it was during the food fair event that he proposed a wonderful idea to Sam. The first chapter of this book talks about the first mission in South Island, New Zealand. During the mission, the main character was injured, and it affected his performance. The second chapter of this book talks about their second mission in Japan. After a year, Sam reached out to his friends, and it was during this time that the main character introduced his girlfriend, Rachel, to his friends. Before the beginning of the mission, Sam got married to Evie. During their mission in Japan, they moved from Niigata to Tokyo via cycling. At some point, they invited Daniel and Alec to join them in their annual mission, but they received rejections from both sides. The book goes on to talk about other missions in Australia, South Africa, and other notable places. They encountered good and bad things. How did the mission affect the bond between the four friends?
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a fascinating work of fiction that was written with a first-person narrative. The book has an adventure theme, and I love the storyline. The author did a good job of using simple and understandable words to describe the characters' actions, emotions, and environment. The book has a table of contents, and I admire the map at the beginning of the book because it is a clear illustration of the places that they visited.
I learned a few lessons from this book. I learned about the necessity of perseverance and determination. I also learned that it is not out of place to have little disagreements in an adult relationship. In my opinion, disagreements help the members of the relationship to understand their peculiar perspectives.
I enjoyed reading this book, but I think the rate of profane words in this work of fiction will be an issue for some readers. However, I noticed one negative aspect while reading this book. Man Mission focused mainly on the mission of the four friends. In my opinion, the author did not do sufficient character development for Evie, Rachel, and Daniel's wife.
This book was well written. In my opinion, this work of fiction was exceptionally edited. I did not notice any grammatical or spelling errors while reading this book.
I love the commitment and consistency of the four friends, and I admire their responsible personalities. I recommend this book to lovers of fiction and adventure. Therefore, I rate this work of fiction 4 out of 4 stars due to the few points mentioned above and because of the valuable lessons I learned from this book.
