Review of Man Mission
[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
The book is about the adventure trips of four men who travelled in several countries around the world. For 15 years these four men hiked, climbed and biked through countries like Japan, Spain, New Zealand, South Africa, Vietnam and Iceland. The author narrates that those adventure journeys happened as a getaway to cool off from life challenges like work, family and career. The book explains that the four men planned these trips earlier in their life in college. Eytan Uliel narrates that those adventure trips were first discussed as mere jokes but they stated fulfilling a few years after they started working. After starting those trips they became an annual activity to explore the world, and find the meaning and purpose in being a male human being.
Man Mission is a brilliant novel because it encourages people to pursue and fulfil their dreams. The story in this book clearly explains the importance of achieving one’s dreams and desires. A lot of people around the world grow old or die without fulfilling their dreams. This book educates people to be strong, courageous and determined to achieve what they want in life. It also explains that people the importance of balancing work or career and personal life. We see four men in this book who could create time for an adventure trip despite having a career and work.
However, I find the use of informal language inappropriate to tell the story in this book. The author used vulgar language several times in this book. The author used the word ‘f****g’ several times in this book. This word usage can prohibit other readers from enjoying the book when reading it. Furthermore, the document I downloaded was poorly scanned whereby the left page of the book is very small, making it very difficult to read.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I give this rating because I have found errors in this book. I also give this rating because the book was narrated with enough description making it easier for the reader to understand and enjoy.
I strongly recommend this book to people that are having doubts or setbacks to achieve certain dreams in their life. Man Mission can encourage them to find a way of fulfilling their dreams before they grow old or die. In other ways, this book can help people to fulfil certain issues in their lives whether it’s a career, relationships or personal life desires. In a long run, by encouraging them to fulfil their dreams, the book can help to improve people’s well-being. This can happen because people always have beautiful dreams but lacks the motive or ways of fulfilling them.
This book was professionally edited because I encountered one error.
