Traveling the world with your best friends for 15 years seems like a dream for any man. But not for Charlie Brown and his three best friends, Sam, Daniel, and Alec. Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a story of 4 men whose friendship blossomed in their early years. Together they made their life mission never to stop. With this essence, they came up with the plan of traveling every year and challenging their manhood with various adventures like hiking, kayaking, and cycling in their expeditions. In 15 years, they traveled from New Zealand to Iceland, got married, had kids, divorced, and started afresh. Reading through the eyes of the protagonist, Charlie gives us a familiar insight into life. This book takes us on an unforgettable journey.

I liked the portrayal of the protagonist's emotions. They are very relatable to the extent that we put ourselves in his shoes, almost feeling the same sentiments. My favorite line from the book is 'The manliest of all adventures wasn't to Kayak across a wild ocean, or ride up a steep hill, or trek through an inhospitable jungle. It was to live a whole life without forfeit or compromise.' Further, the description of the places visited by the four friends is vivid, making us feel as if we are there traveling with them.

If at all I have to talk about the negative point of the book, it would be the abrupt ending of the book. What happened to the other characters is not discussed, and the book's pace is a tad bit fast. Other than this, the book is thoroughly enjoyable.

Overall the book is edited exceptionally well as I could not find any errors. It also has Pictorial representations of the places that the four friends visit. Seeing the maps and imagining visiting the places adds to a visual delight. I would give this book 4 out of 4 stars for these reasons.

This book is a perfect quick read with details of the journey that can be enjoyed by anyone who wants to take a break from the hustle-bustle of life. It also inspires us to live in the moment. I recommend this book to all travel enthusiasts or even those planning to take a trip. It would be tough to keep it down once you start reading.
