Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a story of friendship and growth in four friends who became family. In college, two friends promise to travel the world to seek adventure and exotic food after they graduate. Typically, duty and responsibility overtake youthful fantasy, but not for this pack of friends. Every year, Eytan and his friends pick a destination and travel the world to explore and bond with each other. Every trip brings adventures and experiences. They meet drug dealers in the forests of New Zealand, take shots on the beaches of Fiji, experience luxury in a communist resort, and so much more. As time goes by, the boys from college become men, and the annual trips become a way of bonding with their friends and letting their inner child out. Ultimately, the peace and lessons they learn on the trips sip into their lives and family.

One of the best things about the book is that it reads like a memoir. The main character and the author seem to be the same person because they have the same name. The author also uses first-person perspective and pronouns throughout the book. Another great thing is the story’s fast pace. The book begins as the boys are in college, continues to span fifteen years and ends with them as family men. Eytan Uliel uses a fast pace that covers a long period without including too much detail and content. The outline of the book also helps in maintaining the plot. Every trip has its section that keeps the storyline and plot.

The author’s writing style is quite intriguing to me. A significant part of the book is descriptive, but some sections take on a poetic vibe when describing location and scenery. I feel like this makes the story rich and engaging.

I rate Man Mission by Eytan Uliel four out of four stars. I think it gives interesting insights into a man’s take on life. The writing is engaging, and the editing is flawless. I did not spot any grammatical or plot errors. Furthermore, the book doesn't have any negative aspects or dislikes. I like soul-baring, honest stories.

I think Man Mission by Eytan Uliel has a wide audience range. The book has no sexual or religious content, making it a good read for anyone looking for a thought-provoking book. I would advise parental guidance for readers under sixteen years because the author uses some profanity. Otherwise, Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is an excellent read.
