Four men have shared a beautiful friendship for fifteen years. Though different in their ways, their paths surprisingly crossed while they were in school. They shared highly adventurous trips and had a lot of fun. Years later, some are married, and the boys are no longer men.

Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is the story of four friends who continue a tradition that was started in school. Though these missions started as activities meant for fun, these men seem to have found solace and peace in their friendship and adventures. With new places come new faces. The protagonist meets a woman that interests him. Will his marriage survive this hurdle? Life has more serious demands on these men. Can the "man mission" continue?

This was an entertaining and heartwarming book to read for different reasons. There is a stereotype about the type of friendships that men have. The narrative most people have about male friendships is that it is void of vulnerability and deep expression of love. I found it refreshing to read something totally different from the norm. The charter these men had was amusing. One of the items on the list that caught my attention was the fact that the man who made the loudest noise during their risky adventures will wear a pink bracelet. This was quite funny. Like many other things in this book, I also found it very relatable. The friendship of these men will be a source of envy for many readers. They shared moments of laughter and sorrow together. In addition, I liked that there was an infusion of romance into this book. It helped to spice this book up. I enjoyed reading about the family drama.

I am not sure why the Bible scriptures were included in this book. It was not a religious book, and the scriptures had no sort of coherence with the chapters they preceded. I was thrown aback by this. In addition, there seemed to be too many places and destinations to keep track of. These were my only concerns about this book. There was a map in this book, so it took care of one of my concerns. The only concern I have left does not warrant the deduction of a star. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It was an interesting and heartwarming read. This book was perfectly edited. I found no errors in it.

I recommend this book to highly adventurous readers. If you like to read about great friendships, then this book is for you.
