Review of JTs World
JT's World is the last book of E. Alan Fleischauer's Western series. On the opening day of John Thurgood Thomas' amusement park, JT's world, an employee is killed. Other employees die as well on that same day. JT survives an assassination attempt and Madeline, his daughter suggests that he goes away with his ranch workers on a business trip to get his mind off the things that had happened. Then, the adventure begins. A trip which was meant to be for business ended up being a trip which helps JT find himself and find true love once again. However, it wasn't easy as he had to overcome a few challenges in order to succeed.
JT's world by E. Alan Fleischauer is an action packed thriller filled with adventure and romance and portrays the themes of benevolence, compassion and generosity. JT is an incredibly wealthy man who always does his best to help anyone who is in need. That is in fact his nature and it goes a long way in influencing me as a reader to try to emulate his generosity.
I have always been a fan of books with western settings and this made me fall in love with this book right after I started reading. I enjoyed reading the story in general with it's unending action and suspense. E. Alan Fleischauer surely has his way with words and that was evident is this book considering his way of writing and interesting choice of words. Each character in this book was given adequate attention as every important character had their own backstory. For example, characters like Chip Heller, Jessica Tillman, Aamon Zamora among others. I also enjoyed the scheming nature of the main villain, Aamon Zamora. He made the story very interesting to read. My favorite character was the main character, JT. I loved every aspect of him. Even though he is kind and gentle, one should not be fooled because he can be dangerous when he needs to. That can be seen in the fact that he survived many assassination attempted without help.
I found no problem with this book other that the fact that it contained scenes of gruesome murder which some readers may find disturbing.
This book captured my heart from the first chapter through to the last and I enjoyed every bit of it because of the plot and unending action. It was well edited and did not contain many errors. I would give this book a 4 out of 4 stars rating.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys old western cowboy stories and thrillers. However, it contains scenes which some people would find disturbing and is not suitable for younger audiences.
