JTs World is a collage of romance and murder embedded in a man’s life. John Thurgood Thomas, more often addressed as JT, owns the complex, JTs World, which is his most recent project and the hotspot for all the recent murders of the employees. The gruesomely described deaths are what make JT’s adopted daughter, Madeline, urge her father to take a break and go about his cowboy life to gather more cattle for the ranch. This journey JT embarks on with his friends takes a different path when he encounters others who take him on a wild ride in search of thrills and the long-lost excitement JT lost with his former lover. JT, a hopeless romantic who remained loyal to his past love, finally starts to find a new love and sees more about the situation he is in through Jessica, the woman he saved.

Will JT finally open up to Jessica? Is he ready to let go of the ex-lover who shadowed his life? What’s the secret behind Madeline’s birth? How did JT find her? What’s the connection between them? Can Jessica be trusted? Who was behind the murders at JTs World? Will he succeed? What was his motive?

E. Alan Fleischauer does justice to all the expectations when he wrote JTs World, and this is a wonderfully written piece of work. It brought out a wide array of feelings from the reader because I knew I felt strong emotions in all the descriptions of the murder, the gun fights, the romantic situations, and all the ordeals JT went through. JT was an amazingly written character. Such a nice, selfless person and a loyally hopeless romantic is something women adore. The author has a distinctive writing style, and I loved how he embedded the humor element through Buck and his lame jokes. The flow of the story and the storyline itself was pretty simple, but the way it was narrated with vivid descriptions was a work of excellence. It has been a long time since I came across a book that balanced all the elements well and delivered a job well done.

There was nothing I particularly disliked about the book. In my defense, the story and the delivery were amazing, yet I must admit the gore descriptions of the gun scenes and the deaths popped out a lot. I think many people would find it a bit uncomfortable, also the use of profanity, yet it did add a touch to the situation, so I cannot hold it against the work.

The book is professionally edited, and I found no errors. There were no complex parts, besides some old English words (they don’t affect the storyline) and I loved the way Alan brought the change in JT’s life from a bleak to a more bright time. The romance and his struggles touched my heart, and I’m pretty sure most readers would agree. JT’s story is inspiring, and I love the little twists. I think JTs World deserves 4 out of 4 stars for all the reasons mentioned.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes Western stories about cowboys and romance with a little murder. Anyone who has a liking for gun fights and intense fight scenes would definitely like the descriptions of the scenes in the book. Also, others like me, who want to read something completely unexpected and heartwarming, would love this. I wouldn’t recommend this to those who are queasy about blood and fighting. Besides, this book is not for a younger audience because of the use of profanity.

Regardless, JT deserves the best, so give JTs World a read and I know you won’t regret it!
