Four young friends gathered for an annual tradition. Two of them started it. The other two joined them in the years that followed. Every year they used to go on an exotic adventure. It was their escape from the hardships of real life. They took it as a chance to act like kids again. They had fun with no responsibilities, but they chose to do this by challenging themselves. They went on long hikes, cycling through long roads, and kayaking. Every year they went to a faraway country and chose a proper activity. We get to see the four young men grow older and take on bigger responsibilities. They got married, had children, worked on their careers, and even got divorced.

I enjoyed reading Man Mission by Eytan Uliel. I liked how it discussed the issues men face in societies. It gave me the feeling that I had many points to discuss with people. It shows the value of family and friends, and it shows that even good people can make mistakes, and that mistakes can change your life forever. I liked the spirit between friends and that they were there for each other along the way. The writing style was smooth and kept me wondering what was next. I liked that at the end of each chapter, that represented the year's trip, they put a small guide showing where they went, what they did, and the damage they acquired on the trip, too.

I didn't hate anything about the book. I envied the guys for their annual escape. Not only that, but I wish I could have such a thing. I even liked the small details. I like it when family members or friends share their special traditions.

Because I liked everything about this book, I gladly rate it four out of four stars. It gave me a look at how men could think and react. It also showed me that we all carry our own burdens. I liked how the book ended. It focused on the value of the now. And that it's not about where you go and what you do, but about the time you spend with your chosen circle of people and the moments you can have together.

I recommend this book to female readers who would want a glimpse of what it is like from the other side. I also recommend it to men, who can use it to see that they are not alone. I don't see that it suits minors or sensitive readers, as it contains a good amount of profanity and some sexual content.
