JT's World by E. Alan Fleischauer is a Western fiction novel of 36 chapters. The book explores the themes of western life, love, romance, cowboy, family, and violence. It is set in the United States when security was placed in the hands of bounty hunters who went after criminals for the bounty price put on their heads. It tells the story of John Thurgood Thomas (better known as JT for most of the story), who is trying to recover from the death of his fiancée, Annabelle.

The story is a continuation of a series known as the JT Thomas Western. JT is trying to build a new life after the death of his fiancée with his stepdaughter, Madeline. A murder occurs during the opening of his amusement park, JT's World (not the book title). Further actions by the murderer reveal a new turn of events. Although his intention was unsuccessful, the stress of the past few months catches up with JT as he realizes that he hasn't moved on from Annabelle's death. JT goes on a vacation trip as a way to distress, but can he move on from Annabelle's death and achieve his happy ending? Read up to find out.

The story features other characters, such as Madeline, his stepdaughter. His hotel and detective agency workers, as well as his workers at JT's World (not the book title), were also featured in the book. While on vacation, he encounters a bounty hunter, Mr. Chip Heller, and a gorgeous doctor, Jessica Tillman. The story is well-written, and although it's part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. The author's writing style is simple and easy to read. Also, the fighting scenes were written to fill the readers with excitement and anticipation.

The excellent storyline made it hard for me to choose a favorite scene. I liked the romance between JT and the doctor, Jessica Tillman. I also liked the gunfight scenes, which set the atmosphere of Western times. JT, my favorite character, also made me like the scenes when his generosity was shown. It was worth emulating. Despite his emotional trauma, he was willing to help anyone he came across, starting from the beginning of his journey when he encountered a female pastor, Maria Woodworth, and ending when he met the Callahan family.

The story was an enjoyable read; the different climaxes depicted set my heart racing for the characters. I applaud the author's ability to carry his readers along with the character's actions and emotions. One such climax was when a trap was set for JT by love-rival Aamon Zamora. That moment was heart-pounding.

I don't have anything to dislike in the book. It is well-written and professionally edited. For this reason, I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend the book to mature audiences who enjoy Western-style novels.
