Review of Man Mission
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel, a global traveler, features four friends, Sam, Eytan, Daniel, and Alec, who undertook an epic journey for fifteen years. While still in college, the four friends promise to go on yearly adventures. They make these adventures a tradition that they continue for fifteen years. In a captivating and comprehensive way, Uliel takes the readers through the challenges and the beautiful experiences these men encounter during their adventures. Despite many challenges, the annual missions allowed these friends to deepen their relationships and explore and reflect on these experiences individually. Each trip these men undertook was governed by the ten rules, which involved getting out of their comfort zones and pushing beyond their limits. In addition, the trip involved fun and risky activities such as biking, kayaking, and hiking. Uliel neatly structures the book into chapters, each chapter focusing on one of the missions undertaken. Throughout the book, the author reveals the ups and downs encountered by these men, even as they navigated through their careers, love, marriage, and parenting.
I enjoyed reading this book from start to end. I loved how straightforward and simple the book was. The author's vivid and detailed description of the countryside explored by the men was so magical that it had me glued to the book. The traveling adventures of these men not only helped them to seek and find meaning and purpose in their lives but also enabled them to grow and discover skills for adjusting to the changes they experienced while traveling. The book was easy to read and understand. I enjoyed the alluring prose and smooth flow of the book. The author's outstanding command of the English language was also commendable. The use of dialogue in the book made it more exciting and lively. I also loved the message from Man Mission that it is okay for one to fall short of what is expected and instead pursue joy, stability, and contentment. The author's eloquent writing and prolific vocabulary were also a plus. The book is filled with laughter and fun, making it more captivating. Man Mission was simply a fun and great read for me.
I disliked nothing about this book, as I loved reading it from the beginning to the end. The book is beautifully written and will be enjoyed by anyone.
I did not find any typos or grammar errors, as the book is well-written and edited.
