JTs World by E. Alan Fleischauer is a fascinating read. Right off the bat, we meet our main protagonist, John Thurgood Thomas known as JT to most people as he encounters a cold-blooded murder just before the opening of his amusement park, JT’s world. This is the fifth book in this series and it follows JT and his friends through a new adventure following this murder and several subsequent others. The park is built with John’s newfound wealth and it caters to both adults and children. It was to be filled with many wonders including amazing performances and other immersive experiences.

This, however, was cut short abruptly when on the day of the opening of said amusement park something unexpected happened. The brutal murder of a woman occurs in the most peculiar place in the amusement park. This derails the grand opening of the park and now the killer has to be caught. This series of events jumpstarts the course of the entire story as we follow JT and his friends through another action-packed adventure Because this is a western-themed story one should go into it expecting gun-toting goons and dramatic twists at every corner.

I liked that the story is particularly well structured. The plot is well laid out and even though I had not read the previous books in the series I could completely follow the story. This book can exist as a standalone novel. Every character in the book has a rich backstory and all of these stories intertwine interestingly. The characters are well-developed and they are well rounded. The reader gets to experience the story with them as they uncover new things in this action-packed story.

There are several themes in the book too. One of the first ones a reader will encounter is death. With the story beginning with the murder of one of the characters this theme is seen pretty early on and will continue to be seen more and more in the book. If this is something that might be sensitive to them, I would advise against picking up this book. Other themes include; love where several characters are seen to fall in love with some of the other characters and friendship where we see JT form friendships with other characters. I liked the execution of this book and I found it fascinating to the last page. There is nothing I did not like about this book.

I rate this book four out of four stars as I genuinely enjoyed reading it and it is exceptionally well edited as i found zero errors and typos. I would recommend this book to adult readers who enjoy western-themed adventures as the book contains minor profanity and would not be suitable for younger audiences.
