Man Mission, written by Eytan Uliel, is an adventure book about friendship and its importance. Four men, Sam, Daniel, Alec, and the narrator, decide to have an adventure journey annually, which continues for fifteen years. They referred to the adventures as "Man Missions" and made rules that accompanied the adventures. The rules included each one should travel under their power and the "Man Missions" were for men only. They visited places like New Zealand, where they met drug dealers; Kruger National Park in South Africa, where they saw a roaring lion; and Iceland, where the temperatures were so low. All the other members of this group are married and have nice careers, except Alec, who is unlucky in love and does not have a stable job. Each year they choose a place to go on an adventure where they use different modes of transport such as cycling, kayaking, and hiking.

What I liked most in this book were the crazy adventures the four men had. They would cycle for a whole day to move from one place to another and take risks; for instance, when the narrator was injured during hiking in New Zealand and pretended he wasn't in pain since he did not want to be a problem for Sam. I also liked the descriptive content since it was detailed and impressive. The author explained places where the four men went on adventures well, making the reader create a mental picture of the places, hence, enjoying the book.

I did not find anything to dislike in this book. It was a perfect adventure story, such that reading the book was like watching an adventure movie. The author used dialogue in conversations among characters which made them engaging to the reader.

I rate Man Mission by Eytan Uliel four out of four stars. The book was professionally edited since I found only one error. It had many positive aspects and no negative aspects. The author portrayed the theme of friendship well and showed the readers how you can maintain friendship and still have family and career and create time for all of that. Since the book had all these great things, I gave it a perfect rating.

I recommend this book to lovers of adventure stories. It would be helpful to them since the book is a collection of adventures of four men in different places. The readers should not be offended by profanities and erotic scenes since the book contains them.
