JT’s World by E. Alan Fleischauer is one of the five-book Western series featuring John Thurgood Thomas. The book revolves around the jeopardy that the wanted and armed goons had caused innocent and unarmed individuals. The first murder incident happened at Billy’s Tavern when Mika Shipley, a singer, performed her song. At the same time, Marcus Payne, an experienced killer, traveled to Stevens Pass, Colorado, seeking a chance to kill John Thurgood Thomas and his daughter Madeline. While taking a break from the busy schedule of constructing a performance theatre complex for Madeline, John Thurgood Thomas left with Buck for Chin Lee, Arizona. On their way, they saved Maria Woodworth, a young lady fleeing her home in Utah. She was the new preacher to be in Chin Lee. The stay at Chin Lee was adventurous and awful at the same time. There are death-causing instances from wanted men. John Thurgood Thomas met Doctor Jessica Tillman, a lady he thinks is the most beautiful, and they developed body chemistry. John Thurgood Thomas returned for the grand opening of the nearly finished Billy’s bar and restaurant, a complex he was constructing for her daughter.

It is a well-written book. The author is an experienced narrator, coupling numerous plots and subplots simultaneously. Again, the author employs romantic suspense, making the next romantic move unpredictable, mainly with the love affair between John Thurgood Thomas and Doctor Jessica Tillman, Jessica with Aamon Zamora, and J.T. Thomas with Maria. Once more, the author is pretty creative in scheming the plot where identical twins, June and James, committed a bank robbery and a murder crime, and they shifted the blame on each other unable to tell who did it. Moreover, the author incorporated dark humor and irony when the much-anticipated grand opening at Billy's Tavern turned a deadly snare.

The hypocrisy portrayed by high-profile personnel, a judge and a preacher, is upsetting. A judge who convicted Marcus Payne accepted a bribe to set him free, and later, he caused murder cases. Victor, a gifted preacher, was attracted to teen girls, and he impregnated one before fleeing from Utah in fear of being hanged.

I rate this book four out of four stars. The book editing is exceptional. Additionally, the stories are not dumping nor burdening the reader.

I recommend this book to any young adult with a unique liking for suspenseful novels on romance. The book is a perfect match for them. To add on, lovers of murder actions will find the book appealing.
