Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a short story about life, its ups and downs, the obstacles one has to overcome as a man and the things expected of a man by the world. This story also touches on friendship and its benefits. When was the last time you talked to your friends from college? When was the last time you saw them? Do you even hear from them? Most college friends separate after graduation but that wasn't the case for the protagonist and his three friends.

In search of adventure, thrilling experiences and a break from their daily lives, the protagonist embarks on a journey with Sam, one of his best friends from college. They head to New Zealand for hiking and enjoy an exhilarating, dangerous and adventure-filled week. After this experience, these two friends decide to do something similar the next year with their other friends. This experience gave birth to 'Man mission'. Every year, these four friends embark on an adventurous journeys to different parts of the world for hiking, sailing, kayaking, biking and other activities. This book records their experiences during these adventure-packed Man missions for fifteen years. Man Mission by Eytan Uliel also follows the personal lives of these four friends during the fifteen years. All of their achievements as well as all of their downfalls.

I like how much attention the author gave to other characters even though they had minor roles in the story. He gave adequate background information on all these minor characters to enable the readers to paint a vivid image of these characters in their minds. This story had a good plot and crazy plot twists which no one would see coming. The authors used words that made it easy for readers to imagine every part of the story. This made it very interesting to read. I liked the relationship between these four friends. Their friendship is one which is difficult to come by. This was one of my favorite aspects of this story. I admire how they made time for each other even though they each had their own responsibilities and commitments.

I would have enjoyed this book more if the author had given more attention to the households of Daniel, Alec and Sam like he did with the protagonist.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. Due to its good plot and its occasional humorous scenes, I really enjoyed reading this book. Also, I found no errors in this book. It was exceptionally edited.

This book teaches a lot. I learned a lot about life and about being a man from this book. I recommend this book to all teenagers and all young adults. I believe this book would teach its readers very important life lessons.
