Review of Man Mission
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is an inspiring book that details the adventurous expeditions Eytan and his three friends, Alec, Sam, and Daniel, undertook. While still in school, Eytan had the idea to embark on an annual trip with his friends to different places to explore, learn about, and sample various foods as well as engage in various activities like hiking, trekking, kayaking, biking, and other action-packed activities their adventure might compel them to do. He told Sam about this while they were at their school's food fair and later told Alec and Daniel about it as well. Sam was eager to join him on their little expedition, but Alec and Daniel initially seemed uninterested in the notion. Three years later, Eytan had forgotten the adventures he had always been willing to have with his friends when he was in school because he had become engrossed in the responsibilities of adult life, including a job and bills to pay. Sam called him one afternoon to remind him of the adventure they had always planned to have while they were still in school. Although Daniel and Alec were too busy to accompany them, they had to travel without them because he had already prepared for them to take their first expedition to New Zealand. Their first adventure officially began at that point.
As I read this book, I was able to visualize a life of adventure for the four friends as they traveled to other countries, exploring and having fun despite the challenges they were experiencing in their individual lives. The buddies stuck together through thick and thin from the time they were in school until they got married and had kids, which helped me understand the value of friendship. Particularly if one of them needed assistance or was in hardship, they always had each other's backs and supported one another.
As they proceeded from one adventure to the next, I almost felt like I was with them on their adventures, and I also felt the desire to participate in each activity they undertook while on their Man Mission, which made reading this book enjoyable and highly engaging. I enjoyed parts of their journeys where they went sightseeing in South Africa, sailing in Thailand, and ice climbing in Iceland. I adored how the author included information about each of their trips, including the country, location, means of transportation, distance traveled, amount of time required, lodging, and potential injuries they might have incurred.
There is nothing in this book that I dislike because I enjoyed reading it and found it to be both inspiring and entertaining. Given that I found no errors while reading, I've come to the conclusion that this book was exceptionally well edited, and I'm giving it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book to adventure seekers and readers who enjoy reading travel-related novels, as they will find it to be very engrossing, entertaining, and enjoyable to read.
