Review of JTs World
In the book JT's World written by E. Alan Fleischauer, a young man and widower, John Thomas Thorgood owned a large pub known as JT's world but gory stories happened in his place, most of which were the death of his father-in-law, Marcus Payne and one of the robbers who tried to avenge his friend's death, Billy Burnet. Also, after the seperation from his first love interest after the death of his wife, Maria Woodworth, he found another woman, Jessica. Jessica's estranged ex-lover, Aamron wanted to have her all by himself not minding whose ox is gored. Will John Thomas allow Aamron have his way with Jessica or will he fight to keep her?
Alan's book is complex yet intriguing. A combination which would interest curious readers. It is a complex yet exciting piece of work. He employed horror and humor, a thrilling combination that would keep readers glued and wanting.
There was an emotional moment in in this book. When JT offered to but the casket for Maria's brother's funeral, and with tears in her eyes she kissed him on the cheek saying to him "JT, you have been a godsent. Thank you".
There were also laughing moments in this book. When Maria properly introduced herself to JT, and he tried tipping off his hat to her without realizing that it had been taken from him by the sandman.
Also, when Spikes' body was being taken out, Joe, the livery worker suggested that he should be given a headstone and they suggested a hilarious headstone saying "Here, lies Spikes, the world's biggest asshole".
Another moment was when Maria and JT wanted to lodge in different rooms and the receptionist kept pressing on them to check in the same room as she coughed into uer hands saying in her funny accent, "No uddrr looms in town, but to saloon"
There were horrid moments also seen in this book. When Tiger Olsen had blown Marcus Payne's brains out when Marcus tried killing JT and his daughter, Madeline. Also, another moment was when Billy Burnet and Aaron Shipley had shot themselves with Billy's face gone.
JT's World would be entertaining for curious but patient readers. This is because at first, the book appeared tiresome. But, I was drawn to keep reading due to many interesting parts I found out later. I do not think there is anything uninteresting about this book.
I would recommend this book to those who love a good dose of horrid stories, tradition and humor. 4 out of 4 stars is the only reasonable rating I would give this book.
Despite its complexity, I found no errors in this book.
